What is sin under the New Covenant?

The writer of Hebrews quotes the Old Testament Scriptures where God is saying in the new agreement with mankind he would put his laws in our hearts and minds (consciences) Heb 8:8-13 Jesus said all the law hung on two commands Love God, Love neighbor  Mat 22:37-40. Therefore, the way I see it is you cannot sin by breaking one of the big ten - it is not in effect; or for that matter, any other OT Law, all are done away in Christ 2Co 3:7. All these arguments over the Ten Commandments are ridiculous and futile. The Greek word translated "sin" in the original language of the biblical manuscripts is “hamartia” G266 and means "to miss the mark" it is used to mean to hit a target “PERFECT” center with an arrow. Therefore, to me the mark would be in your own heart and mind as this is where God put his laws and where LOVE flows from our being out to God and to others. Never forget, Love does not originate from our hearts; all Love is originally from God because God “IS” this Love coming from within you and vice versa 1Jn 4:8,16.

Therefore, to me the only way I can "miss the mark" of what God has expected and required of me is to go against my own conscience. Then only God and I can be the judge of that Mat 7:1; Rom 2:1-2, Rom 14:3-4, 10-13; 1Co 4:3-;  Jam 4:11-12. Am I making myself equal with God by saying this? No, I am awakening to the promise of the Spirit of God Being poured out on “ALL” flesh (inclusive, not exclusively to a few; as is mostly taught in the churches). This “gift of the Spirit” was promised under the New Covenant (contract) with All mankind Eze 36:26-27  Joh 14:26 Joh 15:26 Rom 7:6 (Heb 8:10; 1Co 2:10-12) initiated after the cross of Christ Jesus then portrayed  and announced on the Day of Pentecost which is another beautiful  illustration of God bringing All humanity to Himself; but that is another teaching.

Sin (missing the mark of perfection) is a personal matter of our own heart and conscience. The Law of the Spirit of Christ in our hearts Rom 8:2 has freed us from the Law of the Old Testament which only brought death. Why anyone would want to keep them after God has gone to such effort to do away with them is beyond me. No man can know the mind, heart, or spirit of another. Therefore just, righteous judgment is impossible from another human being 1Co 2:11-15 .

Nevertheless, folks LOVE to Judge; it makes them feel better about themselves being blind to their own weaknesses and imperfections; "well brother; I'm not judgin ya but the bible says...." I can tell you a whole lot of things the bible says that these blind guides would probably not like hearing…. When we judge another by the Old Covenant Law we condemn ourselves Rom 2:1.

The bible also says we do not live by a written code anymore or something that was written on tablets of stone (guess what that was) it says the written letter kills but the spirit gives life! 2Co 3:6-18. These modern Pharisees and self-appointed righteousness regulators need to "really" get the New Part of the book (Hint, New Testament) out and read it ALL before continuing with this condemnation of the world.... Jesus said "I did not come to condemn the world but to save it" John 3:17.
That's my two cents worth anyway...

Here are a few scriptures:
And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you.”(Eze 36:26 English Standard Version)

“But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.”(John 14:26 Amplified Bible)

But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [ Himself] will testify regarding Me. (Joh 15:26 Amplified Bible)

How is it, then, that ALL OF US HEAR them speaking in our own native languages? We are from Parthia, Media, and Elam; from Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia; from Pontus and Asia, from Phrygia and Pamphylia, from Egypt and the regions of Libya near Cyrene. Some of us are from Rome, both Jews and Gentiles converted to Judaism, and some of us are from Crete and Arabia---yet all of us hear them speaking in our own languages about THE GREAT THINGS THAT GOD HAS DONE!" Amazed and confused, they kept asking each other, "What does this mean?" But others made fun of the believers, saying, "These people are drunk!" Then Peter stood up with the other eleven apostles and in a loud voice began to speak to the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, listen to me and let me tell you what this means. These people are not drunk, as you suppose; it is only nine o'clock in the morning. Instead, this is what the prophet Joel spoke about: 'This is what I will do in the last days, God says: I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON “EVERYONE”. Your sons and daughters will proclaim my message; your young men will see visions, and your old men will have dreams. Yes, even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will proclaim my message. (Act 2:8-18 Good News Bible)

But now we having been set free from the Law, having died to that in which we were held, so that we serve in newness of spirit and not in oldness of the letter. (Rom 7:6 Modern King James Version)

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. And they shall not each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. (Heb 8:10-11 Modern King James Version)

But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God. (1Co 2:10-12 Modern King James Version)

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts! Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2Co 3:2-18 New International Version)

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? (Mat 7:1-3 New International Version)

Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor? (Jas 4:11-12 New American Standard Version 1995)

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself,… (Rom 2:1 New International Version)

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. (1Co 2:15 King James Version)

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead (King James Version) 16. No longer, then, do we judge anyone by human standards. (Good News Bible) - (2Co 5:14,16)

So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. (Rom 7:4 New International Version)

But it is a small thing to me that I am judged by you or by man's judging; I am not even a judge of myself. For I am not conscious of any wrong in myself; but this does not make me clear, for it is the Lord who is my judge. For this reason let there be no judging before the time, till the Lord comes, who will make clear the secret things of the dark, and the designs of the heart; and then will EVERY MAN HAVE PRAISE FROM GOD. (1Co 4:3-5 Bible in Basic English)

Every man” have his “praise from God.” What? No condemnation mentioned? Just praise? Hmmm Guess I better leave that out too then…

WHO SAID THAT?

writing-old-man

“Dennis what do you mean by you thought that God said all that morbid stuff in the OT?”

This was in response to a number of things I had written saying that now I see just how dumb many things I had believed were. the post was headlined, “what was I thinking”

I would like to start by saying this article isn’t directed at any individual, bible teacher, pastor, church, or denomination. This is not to be taken personally at all. As in, a debate I am only defending and explaining my view of this matter even though I may appear tough on some points its only because this is something that I am particularly passionate about. I love my God and Savior very, very much and I want others to see Him as awesome as I do in their life, in His Word, and in the World throughout all eternity.

Let me first say that although I was once a believer in the inerrancy of scripture and every word of the bible was from GOD. I obviously do not believe that now and I think for good reason or reasoning, common sense thinking instead of the brainwashed religious thinking that requires us to disengage our brain…

I believe that GOD inspired men to write certain things in the bible. I believe they were inspired to write by and through the anointing of The Holy Spirit. Furthermore I believe GOD still today inspires men and women to speak, write and communicate in various ways for and through Him by the same Holy Spirit. Although man being an imperfect instrument logically did not and does not write a perfect message, including me; but parts of the biblical writers own thinking, culture, civilization, traditions, background and customs leaked into their writing. I believe this is why, and what GOD was trying to show us in allowing the first four books of the New Testament to be four very different versions of the same story told from different perspectives. God seemed to be saying, “Look I AM speaking to these men but they are hearing and seeing me differently according to their particular character, nature, background, and personality.” Therefore, what we have is four very different Gospels that even contradict each other in places; yet they are part of the bible. Nevertheless, the message of Christ Jesus comes through each one loud and clear… Jesus The Christ IS THE WORD of GOD and the perfect representation of our creator GOD, and Father of All. Knowing Him is to know the TRUTH. That being said, much of what Jesus said and done does not line up with the character and message of the purported statements of The LORD in the Old Testament. Any biblical scholar knows this, so they have adapted their elucidations into their particular theology; that is their privilege, and right, I honor their freedom to do so; and so should they honor mine.

The bible says we should “rightly divide the word of God” also; the book of Proverbs speaks much about common sense. We also know that the bible is spoken of as Spiritual food.

OK; if I am at a seafood restaurant eating snow crab, I have enough sense to take the shell off before I eat the good meat inside. I discard the shell, knowing it has no desirable nutritional value but if I tried to eat it together with the good meat inside it would actually ruin the meal….. In like manner, I think GOD expects us to have enough sense to “rightly divide” the words written in His Holy Book. I feel He is saying in my heart, “you know me don't you? Do you think I would say or do that?”

Here are a few (I could include hundreds) references that I believe support my view.

(Mat 5:18 MKJV)

For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.

What is “the Law” Jesus speaks of here? Most likely the Torah the first five books of the bible - the Jewish Pentateuch and the collective body of Jewish teaching embodied in the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud. It is not clear however, how much or what parts he was referring to; what is clear though, whatever it was – Jesus Fulfilled it… so the “till” is passed and past.

Luk 24:44-47 WNT

And He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you--that everything must be fulfilled that is written in the Law of Moses and in the Prophets and the Psalms concerning me." (45) Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, (46) and He said, "Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the third day rise again from among the dead; (47) and that proclamation would be made, in His name, of repentance and forgiveness of sins to ALL the nations…”

NOW: Gal 5:14 NIV “The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Rom 8:4 MKJV “so that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”

The Spirit of Christ that is in the heart of every person through the reconciliation and restoration accomplished through the cross and resurrection of Christ, the Second Adam, Restoring Right Relationship with GOD and Mankind; what was lost for all in Adam was Gained back for ALL through Christ. Joh 1:9, Rom 5:18-19, 2Co 5:19. We only need to hear the true Gospel and have “our minds opened to understanding the scriptures” – The Gospel, Good News that God in Christ Jesus has saved the World! Then comes the renewal of the mind resulting in a redirection of actions and regeneration of attitudes (repentance) for “IN this GOSPEL” IS the POWER of GOD when one hears and believes it… (Rom 1:16) But most of the world has not heard the Gospel but a counterfeit that defames, insults, and slanders the name of My Victorious God and Savior. Their so-called gospel makes GOD and Jesus Christ out to be, not a triumphant Great God and Savior, but a Great Looser of most of humanity to a fiery pit of eternal sufferings. That my friends, is NOT good news…

The true Word of GOD today is all around us and even within us; not bound up between two leather covers with pretty, gold edge pages. Although I do love my bibles as much as anyone. I know I have 40+ in my study; maybe 50 something. Truth is though The Word of GOD that gives life is living and active IN YOU.

(2Co 3:3-4 ESV) And you show that “YOU” ARE A LETTER FROM CHRIST delivered by us, written not with ink but WITH THE SPIRIT of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. (4) Such is the CONFIDENCE that we have through Christ toward God…. (2Co 3:6-18 WNT) It is He also who has made us competent to serve Him in connexion with a “NEW” Covenant, which IS NOT A WRITTEN CODE but A SPIRIT; for the written code INFLICTS DEATH, but the Spirit GIVES LIFE. (7) If, however, the service that proclaims death--its code being engraved in writing upon stones--came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily on the face of Moses because of the brightness of his face--a vanishing brightness; (8) will not the service of the Spirit be far more glorious? (9) For if the service which pronounces doom had glory, far more glorious still is the service which tells of righteousness. (10) For, in fact, that which was once resplendent in glory has no glory at all in this respect, that it pales before the glory which surpasses it. (11) For if THAT WHICH WAS TO BE ABOLISHED came with glory, much more is that which is permanent arrayed in glory. (12) Therefore, cherishing a hope like this, we speak without reserve, and we do not imitate Moses, (13) who used to throw a veil over his face to hide from the gaze of the children of Israel the passing away of what was but transitory. (14) Nay, THEIR MINDS WERE MADE DULL (BLIND); for to this very day during the reading of the book of the ancient Covenant, (Law) the same veil remains unlifted, because it is only in Christ that it is to be abolished. (15) Yes, to this day, WHENEVER MOSES IS READ (OT LAW), a veil lies upon their hearts. (16) (JMNT ) Yet whenever the time should be reached when it [= the heart] will twist and turn upon [so as to face] toward [the] Lord [= Christ or Yahweh], "the head-covering (veil) is by habit progressively taken from around [it]." [note: the same act was performed, by the husband, on the bride after the ceremony] i.e. “The bride of Christ”…. WNT (17) Now by "the Lord" is meant the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, freedom is enjoyed. (18) And “ALL OF US”, with unveiled faces, reflecting like bright mirrors the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same likeness, from one degree of radiant holiness to another, even as derived from the Lord the Spirit.

Notice also in the bible the first five books of the bible are called “the Law OF MOSES” not of “GOD” I know, I know, settle down… HE, MOSES, said it was God’s Law and writing… nevertheless the other parts of the bible call it the Law “of Moses”; see note 1. also in one place Jesus said “written in “YOUR Law” not “MY” Law” (Joh 8:17). Other books are called “the prophets” then “THEY”, the prophets said “thus saith the LORD” I’m just Looking at this with common understanding of words and writing. Other places would say “a psalm OF DAVID” or a psalm “of ASAPH”. I’m not saying they were not inspired; I believe they were, but I don't believed they were perfect – there was only one perfect man that walked this earth. Also, consider that this Law would be abolished and fade away – a Law of GOD could not be abolished or fade away because GOD is eternal and does not change… Now seeing this, I would consider the rest of the bible to be the writing “OF WHOSEVER” about GOD. I’m not saying that God did not inspire these people to write in the bible; I’m just saying that it could be up for debate and deliberation as to how we might divide the man part from the GOD part. I think this position is justifiable even as we can see; from the bible itself.

So I believe its up to the individual heart to decide what “GOD” is saying to them – and that may be right or may be wrong; let GOD be the judge and even that is personal no one else’s business unless one chooses to share it; then it is to be judged by the church in the mouth of two or three witnesses. 1Co 14:29, Mat 18:16, 2Co 13:1

And even in the above mentioned chapter Paul says 1Co 14:34 “The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak” I think this was Paul saying this because of his cultural background; and not the Lords direction or desire (even many theologians that disagree with me on the rest of this article would agree with me here… hmmm think about that; what’s the difference? - You must judge, but I’m going to throw out the shell and eat the meat…

Paul himself said it was not always GOD speaking in his writing, and later said to “rightly divide” the word.

(1Co 7:12 NIV)                                            To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord) If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her.

(2Co 11:17 MKJV)                                    What I speak, I do not speak according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this boldness of boasting.

(2Ti 2:15 MKJV)                                      Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, <<rightly dividing>> the Word of Truth.

Now here are some examples of some passages that I would leave open for debate and deliberations considering the above afore written testimonial , and the drastic change in the nature of these statements & commands in scripture supposedly “FROM GOD”….?

Num 15:32-35 MKJV

(32) And while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man <<gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.>>

(33) And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation.

(34) And they put him under guard because it had not been clearly said what should be done to him.

(35) And <<the LORD said to Moses, The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones>> outside the camp.

Deu 21:18-21 MKJV

(18) If a man has <<a son who is stubborn and rebels,>> who will not obey his father's voice or his mother's voice, even when they have chastened him he will not listen to them,

(19) then <<his father and his mother shall lay hold on him>> and bring him out to the elders of his city, and to the gate of his place.

(20) And they shall say to the elders of his city, this son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey our voice. He is a glutton and a drunkard.

(21) And <<all the men of his city shall stone him with stones so that he dies.>> So shall you put evil away from you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.

Est 2:2 (BBE) Then the servants who were waiting on the king said to him, Let search be made for SOME FAIR YOUNG VIRGINS FOR THE KING: (in other words “go get me some young little hot foxy girls to play with so I can have my way with them and get their virginity…”)

Num 31:17-18 (CEV) YOU MUST PUT TO DEATH every boy and all the women who have ever had sex. (18) BUT DO NOT KILL THE YOUNG WOMEN WHO HAVE NEVER HAD SEX. YOU MAY KEEP THEM FOR YOURSELVES” (Yeah, when you get this done with all this killing you can go home and have an orgy)

(Psa 109:9 GNB)

May his children become orphans…. (Yeah, who cares – their trash)

(Psa 109:10 GNB)

May his children be homeless beggars; may they be driven from the ruins they live in! (let them starve on the streets and then be driven even out of town where there is no one to help them! Haahahhhaaa)

(Psa 137:9 MKJV)

Blessed is he who seizes and dashes your little ones against the stones. (here’s what you do…. Grab them by their little legs and then swing them around and smash their little heads on the rocks! Then I’ll bless your socks off)

Do you believe “GOD” said these things and gave these orders….?

I suppose…. I could allegorically understand this crushing infants heads as mortifying the beginning or infancy of sin in their heart… yada yada yada; although that doesn’t seem to fit in this context… I also suppose I could allegorically understand all the other hundreds of places such BRUTAL and MERCILESS LANGUAGE is used; but somehow it just does not AT ALL fit with the depiction of the FATHERLY LOVING GOD in Jesus The Christ that I have come to know through Jesus and the Spirit of Christ in my heart….

Grace, Peace, and Love to you all,

Psalms 22:27 Global Heart Warming

people-circle_globe

Psalms 22:27 “ALL” the ENDS of “THE WORLD” shall remember and TURN UNTO the LORD “ALL” and the KINDREDS of the NATIONS shall WORSHIP BEFORE THEE.

The "Contemporary English Version" has:

“EVERYONE” ON THIS EARTH will remember you, LORD. PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD will TURN and WORSHIP YOU,

A NET Bible study note on this verse says:

“Another option (cf. NIV, NRSV) is to take the forms as imperfects and translate, "ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH will acknowledge and turn...and worship."

The “MESSAGE BIBLE” paraphrases this passage like this:

Down-and-outers sit at GOD's table and eat their fill. Everyone on the hunt for God is here, praising him. "Live it up, from head to toe. Don't ever quit!" From the four corners of the earth people are coming to their senses, are running back to GOD. Long-lost families are falling on their faces before him. GOD has taken charge; from now on he has the last word. All the power-mongers are before him --worshiping! All the poor and powerless, too --worshiping! Along with those who never got it together --worshiping! Our children and their children will get in on this As the word is passed along from parent to child. Babies not yet conceived WILL HEAR THE GOOD NEWS—THAT GOD DOES WHAT HE SAYS. (Psa 2

2:26-31 MSG)

1Jn 4:14 says “And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be the SAVIOR OF THE WORLDso if God does what He says; then The Son of God is the Savior of the world! That’s GOOD NEWS that everyone from the down-and-outers to those yet conceived need to hear. And when they do and it is completed, there will be a jump-up-and-down, get-down-on-your-face worship party all over this world !

Many bible scholars and commentators know that these particularly plain scriptures are teaching that God will eventually save the whole world. It is too obvious to deny. I believe they just don’t know how to appropriate it into their theology so they just leave it alone.

Here are some quotes:

“It is evidently his grand consolation that Jehovah will be known throughout all places of his dominion. “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord. Out from the inner circle of the present church the blessing is to spread in growing power until the remotest parts of the earth shall be ashamed of their idols, mindful of the true God, penitent for their offences, and unanimously earnest for reconciliation with Jehovah. Then shall false worship cease, “and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee”

The Treasury of David

by Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-1892)

this language is in accordance with what is uniformly said of him and his work, that the world would be converted to the living and true God.

Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible - Albert Barnes (1798-1870)

not only the nations of the world shall receive the Gospel as a revelation from God, but each family shall embrace it for their own salvation. They shall worship before Jesus the Savior,

Adam Clarke's Commentary on the Bible

Adam Clarke, LL.D., F.S.A., (1715-1832)

If ALL the people in a church building from one end to the other and all corners, and ALL their kinfolks and families; turned to the LORD and began to worship before Him; Wouldn’t you say they were ALL saved? …Well if you are Baptist; some got saved, the others rededicated. If you came home from that church service I think you would tell people “the whole church repented, got saved and had a Holy Ghost party worshiping before the LORD today”

Why would anyone want to look at this verse speaking of this magnificent global revival in any other way than the glorious truth it so unmistakably proclaims?

Peace, Grace, and love to you,

Rev. Dennis D. Caldwell

DO YOU HAVE FAITH?

http://www.public-domain-image.com (public domain image)

"FEAR" is faith in reverse.... in other words <fear IS faith> in evil.... Sooo you DO have faith; it's just up to you what you do with it... Do you believe in what a GOOD VICTORIOUS GOD can and will do? OR do you believe in what an EVIL VICTORIOUS DEVIL can and will do? Do you fear what’s in the darkness more than you trust in the light? It's your choice.....

There is NO FEAR IN LOVE, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in love.
(1 John 4:18 MKJV)
And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD.
(1 John 4:14 MKJV)
that everyone having been born and now being a born-one, from out of God continuously overcomes (habitually conquers) the ordered system (world). And this is the victory (conquest) overcoming (conquering) the ordered system (world): OUR FAITH!
(1 John 5:4 JMNT)

HALLELUJAH!

REV. D

What do you want?

CHRIST CARE

"So I tell you, when you pray for something, BELIEVE that you have ALREADY RECEIVED it. Then IT WILL BE yours. (Mark 11:24 NIrV)

(KJV) Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

This is one of those "Jesus" statements" that is beyond the natural minds ability to fully accept or comprehend. I have read tons of commentary trying to "explain away" this apparently wide open statement. Actually it doesn't say anything in it, before it, or after it about being the will of God or being righteous or anything. It just is what it is and says what it says. It is a GOD thing that is outside the boundaries of our finite intelligence. The King James in this instance actually used the best word here from the Greek aiteō and just generally means whatever you want or desire which make it YOUR will not God's.... I cant figure it out - just is what it is, and I have to believe it even if I dont believe enough to make mountains move or throw trees around Jesus said it was possible... I think He was just teaching us about the power of faith - faith that is beyond the natural and most likely will not be experienced without a radical change in our nature. I believe this will come with spiritual maturity that frankly we just have not reached yet.

Got Time?

436461067_aec107a774_b

I just read a Good article by Kevin Cecil about our perception of our life: it will make you think.... And I agree, time is relative to the individual. I personally have come to think of time as irrelevant in the larger picture. I realize that my bills have to be paid by a certain "date" and "time" in relation to my clock and calendar; although reality is really only NOW, that's all it can be to me... “NOW I AM”… YESTERDAY IS GONE TOMORROW DOES NOT EXIST. Conversely, the only reason we have a clock and calendar is that we live on a little blue ball spinning around in space while it circles a star. We earthlings look forward and backward, north, south, east and west, up and down in relation to that movement and our position on the earth. Actually, “up” is entirely relative to where you are standing on this planet; other than that relativity there is no “up”.... In reality, if we left this little blue ball we live on called earth and were catapulted into the nothingness of space there would be no time at all; nothing to use as a measure to start a calendar or clock, there would be no up or down, no right or left, no beginning or end.... Think about it....

"A PRAYER"

I Praise you Father God because you are omnipotent. There is “nothing” too hard for you.I Trust you Father because you are omniscient. There is nothing that you do not know and always have known. I Thank you Father God for the comfort and peace I receive by the fact that you are omnipresent, and no matter where I am, you are there whether I am living in heaven, or going through hell, you are there.
You never change, never make a mistake, or are out-witted or overpowered (even by Satan). Your redemptive purposes for mankind will be successful. You never fail. I Praise and Thank you Father that you are altogether Righteous, and everything you do is fair and just and You are not a respecter of persons and You do not show partiality. And so You will have ALL People to be saved and come to knowledge of the truth.
For You Father God have revealed Your grace for the salvation of ALL people Through Christ. You are always giving. Your mercy never ends or runs out. You do not keep Your anger or disdain forever. Even Your punishment and correction is in Your red-hot love* and desire for our purification and perfection, to become like Jesus who is the perfect representation of Your nature and ways.Your Spirit is as a fire of love. A fire among us and within us; for You Heavenly Father are a consuming fire and Your fire will not be quenched until it has thoroughly purged ALL, and burned up all the chaff. Then You will bring all the wheat into the barn. You will see that nothing is wasted. You will see that the fiery trial of our faith will bring us forth as much more precious than gold as it is purified in the fire. All our sin and death will be cast into your consuming and purifying fire. And finally the last enemy that will be destroyed will be death and there will be no state of death (separation from fellowship with You) at all anywhere in all space, time and eternity.

Then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written; Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where* is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?Amen, Praise God! You love us while we are still sinners – missing the goal of Your best for us - but You love us too much to leave us in that destructive and painful state.
You are always good to all and desire only good in all You do, and you love even your enemies and those who don’t love you back.Help us be like you Father God. You are the Almighty God who works ALL things out in accordance with Your will and desire and pleasure.
Having made known to us the mystery and secret of Your will, according to Your good pleasure which You purposed, designed and planned beforehand in Yourself: You planned for “the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages” to unify ALL things and consummate them in Christ, both things in heaven and things on the earth. ALL things are done according to Your plan and decision; and You Father God chose us to be Your own people in union with Christ because of Your own purpose, based on what You had decided from the very beginning. Our heart plans our course, but You Lord direct our steps. Many are the plans in all our minds, but it is Your purpose Lord, that will be done.
So then our steps are established by You Lord, and You delight in our way; For You are The Lord God Almighty, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish ALL my purpose,'Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, You decided to bring THE WHOLE universe back to Yourself. You made peace through Jesus blood on the cross and so brought back to Yourself ALL things, both on earth and in heaven. For this reason You raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name. And so, in honor of the name of Jesus ALL beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will bow on their knees, and ALL will openly proclaim and give praise that; “Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
”Thank you heavenly Father that you have given us your Spirit and Grace for this purpose; for we know that NO ONE can say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Spirit. So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on You Father God, who has mercy. So You have mercy on whomever You will, and You harden whomever You will - So that we might show them love and grace overcoming evil with good, bringing You Honor and Glory. For You Father God have consigned us ALL to disobedience and unbelief, that You may have mercy on us ALL and give us the “Gift of faith” through Jesus Christ.
For the Creation fell into subjection to failure and unreality, not of its own will, but because God willed it to be so. Yet there was the hope - confident expectation that creation itself would one day be set free from its slavery to decay and would share the glorious freedom of the children of God.So then, as the one mans sin condemned ALL people; in the same way the one mans righteous act sets ALL people free and gives them life. And just as ALL people were made sinners as the result of the disobedience of one man, “Adam” in the same way they will ALL be put right with God as the result of the obedience of the one man. “ JESUS CHRIST “I Praise You God, through The Lord Jesus Christ, by the gift of Your Holy Spirit!Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! For from him and through him and to him are ALL things. To him is glory forever. Amen.
I know and believe that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh,And Jesus IS The Savior of the world.
You are light, and light dispels all darkness, darkness cannot overcome light. You are love, and You love the whole world.Love never fails. ALL good things come from You,And even the bad are not out of Your control.Your grace is sufficient; for all our needs, weakness, sickness, pains, and sins. Jesus took all that on himself and overcame and provided Grace for it all for us ALL, He took a beating and so we were healed, He died so we can live.Thank you Jesus. Because You loved us You gave Your life for us ALL saying “Father forgive them” then You said “it is finished” so the world will be completely saved through You.
You accomplished Your purpose and plan. You did not fail. You will irresistibly draw ALL people to Yourself. For You are the good shepherd; You will seek until You bring every last one home; that where You are we will be also. You Father have given ALL things to Jesus, so that He might restore them ALL back to You. Jesus will lose nothing. So that we can ALL rejoice together forever.
Enable me Father to go and share this wonderful “Good News” with all I come in contact; not only in word but also in deed; filled with the love of the Holy Spirit-The Spirit of Christ overflowing in my heart with love for all mankind. Help me Father to let them know that You were Personally present in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Yourself. You were not counting up and holding against people their trespasses, mess ups and failures but canceling them.
And now; You are personally present through Christ in us and have committed to us the message of reconciliation and of the restoration to favor and salvation for the whole world. Because You love them ALL.God help them to have ears of understanding to hear that this is the truth as we speak.
Help me heavenly Father to put today’s concerns in Your great and awesome hands and just trust You for all things. May Christ Jesus be Lord of my life through the gift of the Holy Spirit: my corrector, helper, comforter, teacher, enabler and Guide; that I might bear the good fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, all flowing into me and then flowing out of me.
Thank You Heavenly Father for Your written Word in The Holy Bible. And also Your living Word in Christ and Christ in us. Show me and teach me the truth in Your message by Your Spirit in my inner person, and help me apply it to my life.May I always honor your name and bring glory to you. May Your Kingdom Rule and Your will be done in my life. I know You will provide all that I need today. Help me when I am tempted to do wrong. Protect me from evil. I forgive all those who have sinned against me, As you have forgiven me.
The Universe and all that is in it, seen or unseen Are under Your great and awesome power and control. You are God and there is no other. Protect us from idols (wrong thinking of what and how and who you are). Praise God! Him and Him only do I worship!" I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
" ALL things are possible with God" And it is in the Spirit of Christ and the name of Jesus I pray, It is so, Amen.
